Why pay you to build it instead of buying a prebuilt PC?+
Three reasons. One: every part is named — no surprise generic PSU or weak motherboard hiding inside a flashy case. Two: every part is individually warrantied by its manufacturer, plus our 2-year build warranty on top. Three: when something needs attention in three years, you walk it into Norwood, not ship it interstate to whoever sold you the box.
Can I supply my own parts?+
Yes. We charge a flat assembly + test fee for BYO builds. We'll tell you upfront if any of your parts are a poor match (e.g. underpowered PSU, slow RAM kit) before we touch them.
How long does a custom build take?+
Standard configurations are usually ready in 5–7 business days from order. Workstation and AI builds with specialty parts (Threadripper, RTX 5090, ECC RAM) typically 10–14 days depending on supplier stock.
Does it come with Windows?+
Yes — genuine Windows 11 Pro is included on all standard builds, properly activated and tied to your Microsoft account. Linux configurations are available on request at no extra cost.
How is the build tested before I get it?+
Every machine gets a minimum 4-hour stress test under load — CPU (Prime95 / Cinebench loops), GPU (FurMark + 3DMark), memory (MemTest86), thermals logged the whole time. If anything throttles, the build doesn't ship. You get the test report with the receipt.
What's the warranty?+
2-year build warranty (cabling, assembly, system integration) plus the full manufacturer warranty on every individual part — typically 3 years on GPU, 5 years on PSU, 5 years on NVMe. You bring the PC to us, we handle the warranty claims with the suppliers.
Can I upgrade it later?+
Yes — that's the whole point. We spec standard ATX/mATX boards, accessible NVMe slots, and PSUs sized for one GPU generation up. Bring it back in 2–3 years for a GPU swap or RAM bump, or do it yourself.
Do you deliver or do I pick up?+
Pickup from Norwood or Mount Barker is free. We deliver across metro Adelaide for a flat fee and offer freight Australia-wide in custom foam-lined boxes.
